The instructions are pretty self explanatory.
With the three pulleys, pull them to find where the bottom position is. The left one goes to this bottom position and the other two go to the middle position.
The control that has a wheel with three 'spokes' sticking out - you can move the end pieces to have the grooves on the left or the right - click anywhere on the wheel to rotate it so that you can adjust each end piece to match the diagram in the journal.
The control that has a gear/cog and an arm. Just move the arm once so that it moves from the gear to the indentations at the front.
Now climb out and use the lever to call the elevator back down and take another trip...
Ok, I'm in the Centre Tower now but how do I unlock that outer door?
