Alright.
The book that Atrus gave you at the beginning of the game has four sentences of four words each written in bold. Write these words down in order.
Go to the wall hangings and draw the patterns for each of the words. You will discover that you are missing three patterns but for the moment you only need patterns for the first 12 (three groups of four patterns) and they are all there.
Make sure the lever between the consoles is turned to the left so that you can activate the left console and once you click a couple of times on that console you will be able to enter the patterns.
The first pattern of each group goes into the top of a circle and the others follow in a clockwise order. They need to stay in their groups of four but it doesn't matter which circle they go in. You will know you have entered your four patterns correctly in a circle when it lights up white.
