Well, well, lookey there. Each projector has four circular channels with a ballbearing in each - kinda looks like the mechanisms inside each of the tusks.
At each projector, you have two levers - the lefthand one zooms the image in and out and the righthand one changes the focus. What took me a while to find out was that you can click and drag on the image and view a bit more of the area.
